80th anniversary of the murder of 3,792 prisoners of the so-called Terezín Family Camp

8 March 2024 marks the 80th anniversary of the murder of 3,792 inmates of the so-called Terezín Family Camp, which will take place on 8 March 2024 at 3 pm on the grounds of the former Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.
The Terezín Initiative Institute, in cooperation with the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, is holding a commemorative event on the Auschwitz II - Birkenau site to mark the anniversary.
The program includes a tour of Auschwitz II - Birkenau, focusing on the Terezín family camp, followed by a discussion to be held on the morning of March 9 (ITI Director Tomáš Kraus, Terezín Memorial Director Jan Roubínek, Beit Terezín Israeli Memorial representative Tami Kinberg, and others (to be determined).
