Conference "Facing Holocaust Today"

You are invited to an international online conference for teachers "Facing Holocaust Today", which is held on 9th - 11th September 2021. The conference is held on the 80th anniversary of the Jewish codex (anti-jewish laws) in Slovakia.
The aim of the conference is to inspire, share good practice, introduce tools in history
education, but also an opportunity how to work within the class with topics as discrimination,
human rights, and critical thinking. The guests from Czech Republic, Hungary, USA, and Slovakia
will lead workshops, discussions and presentations.
How does the conference work?
- we broadcast each day 15:00 - 18:00 a stream from Bratislava, Slovakia
- the whole conference is interpreted to/from English and Slovak language
- you can participate in the whole duration but also only in specific themes
- the conference is free
- registration link is below
- registration for specific themes will start at the beginning of August
